How do you try Grok Voice for a customer-support voice agent?

Here is a practical setup in 5 steps. It follows the features SpaceXSI lists; it is not a hands-on test.

  1. Open x.ai/api/voice or the SpaceXSI console and create an API key for the Voice Agent API.
  2. Point your agent at model grok-voice-3.0 or grok-voice-latest (the alias already points to 3.0).
  3. Add the tools your support flow needs, such as order lookup or refund status, and write clear system instructions.
  4. Run a test call covering a common ticket: interruption, a noisy line, and a refund request.
  5. Check latency and resolution yourself, then compare the $0.08 per minute rate to your current support cost before a wider rollout.
