Quick answer

Yes, Agent Opus has a free plan. The pricing page lists 60 credits per month on Free, while the Agent Opus Credits FAQ calls the 60 welcome credits a one-time allowance, plus up to 25 more from onboarding steps; the two official pages differ, so check your balance in the app. Free downloads carry a watermark, and the terms limit free use to personal, non-commercial use. What is Agent Opus?

Agent Opus generates new videos from a text idea, a pasted script, a spoken recording, a song, a reference video or your own product images. It plans first (summary, script, style, assets and an optional storyboard) and shows a credit estimate before anything is generated. There are four quality modes: Standard and Standard+ make narrated videos up to 10 minutes with built-in voices, voice cloning and a timeline editor on any plan; Premium and Ultra build multi-shot scenes with lip-synced dialogue, up to 3 minutes, on Pro and Max. Aspect ratios are 9:16 (default), 16:9 and 1:1. Paid plan credits work in both Agent Opus and OpusClip. The prompt guide says Agent Opus is not built to cut long videos into clips or caption raw footage; OpusClip does that.

How do you use Agent Opus to turn a script into a video?

Here is a practical setup in 5 steps. It follows the features OpusClip lists; it is not a hands-on test.

  1. Open Agent Opus at agent.opus.pro, create an account and log in with the one-time password it sends you.
  2. In the composer, pick Script to Video and paste your full script (Standard and Standard+ take up to 1,700 words). The prompt guide says a full script beats a summary, so add the audience and tone, for example: “Make a 60-second narrated explainer for small-business owners, friendly tone. Here is my script: [paste script]”.
  3. Set Quality (Standard, Standard+, Premium or Ultra), the aspect ratio (9:16 is the default; 16:9 for landscape, 1:1 for square), then open Audio to pick a built-in voice, clone your own or upload a recording.
  4. Switch the Auto control beside the chat box to Manual so Agent Opus waits for your reply at each step (on Auto it carries on and starts generating, and spending credits, if you step away). Review the Summary, Script, Style and Assets cards and the credit estimate.
  5. Choose Create Storyboard for a timed shot plan, or Create Video Now. Watch the result, request edits (each video includes one free retry) and download the version you want.
