What is Murf AI?
Murf AI Studio turns text into voiceovers with 200+ voices, styles and tonalities, plus pronunciation controls. Paid plans include downloads and commercial rights; Business adds Emphasis, Variability and Say It My Way, a PowerPoint integration and audio to text. Enterprise lists SSO, AI translation, sharing and collaboration, and no training on your data. Murf also sells a text-to-speech API with its Falcon and Gen2 models, a voice changer and translation, and it integrates with Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint, Adobe Captivate and Articulate 360.

How do you use Murf AI to turn a script into a voiceover?
Here is a practical setup in 5 steps. It follows the features Murf AI lists; it is not a hands-on test.
- Create a project in your Murf workspace and paste or import your script. Murf splits it into blocks (paragraphs) and sub-blocks (sentences).
- Pick a voice from the Voice Library by language, accent and style.
- Set Speed and Pitch (each from -50% to +50%) on one block, then use Apply Settings to Project.
- Add pauses with the pause control or the tag “[pause 1s]” (0.1s to 5s).
- Fix names and acronyms with the Pronunciation tool, then preview. The free trial includes 10 minutes of voice generation but no downloads; downloading the audio needs a paid plan.

Yes. Murf publishes API docs with two text-to-speech models, Falcon (built for real-time voice agents) and Gen2, plus voice changer and translation. The API pricing tab lists $10 of free credit to start.
Does Murf AI train on my data?
