HighLevel lists Conversation AI, Voice AI, Content AI, Funnel AI, and Reviews AI as core features. AI usage is billed either pay-per-use with no monthly fee, or through an AI Employee plan at $50 or $97 per month for each sub-account that uses it. Rebilling AI Employee usage to clients requires the $497 Agency Pro plan.

What HighLevel lists as AI features
The pricing page lists five AI tools among the core features included in the agency plans. It marks three of them with an asterisk, which the page explains as “usage based charges apply.” The pricing guide describes AI Employee as “a suite of HighLevel AI tools that helps agencies automate conversations, content creation, review responses, and in-app assistance.”

How AI usage is billed
The pricing guide lists three ways to pay for AI. Each sub-account (HighLevel also calls it a location) is on one of them. AI Employee Growth and Unlimited are billed monthly for each enabled sub-account. Usage is paid from the Agency Wallet, which HighLevel refills from your card when it drops below your minimum balance.

The guide adds one caution worth reading twice: Phone System charges still apply to phone calls, even when inbound Voice AI is covered by AI Employee Unlimited. The AI plan does not cover the call minutes.
Because the AI Employee plans are priced per sub-account, the cost grows with the number of clients you turn them on for. Ten client sub-accounts on AI Employee Unlimited would be 10 × $97 = $970 a month, on top of the agency plan.
Passing AI costs to clients
HighLevel’s pricing FAQ says premium AI usage is charged separately from the subscription, and that Unlimited and Agency Pro can rebill usage costs to clients. The pricing guide is more specific for AI Employee: your agency must be on the $497/month plan to rebill AI Employee usage. What the AI does not promise
HighLevel’s own disclaimer on the pricing page says its AI features are software functionality only, and that they require setup, configuration, and ongoing human oversight. It says results, performance, and cost savings vary. This page makes no promise of results either.
Recommendation
Start on pay-per-use while you test, because it has no monthly fee. Move a client to AI Employee Growth or Unlimited once that client’s usage is steady enough to compare against $50 or $97 a month. If you plan to resell AI to clients, budget for Agency Pro, since AI Employee rebilling needs the $497 plan. For the plans themselves, read HighLevel pricing for agencies.
